“Aqua Gold” by Montale is a niche perfume for men.

The moment when the breeze of the Mediterranean Macchia of Capri, with citrus fruits and botanical species in bloom, meets a fragrant mix of beach, maritime pines and Lebanese cedars. Very fresh and euphoric, it is a very contemporary citrus water.

Citrusy, woody, aromatic, spicy and musky: “Aqua Gold” is a perfume for the day much more complex than it may seem. Very sure that it cannot fail to please, because it contains within itself a world of evergreen essences that never tire.

The opening is sparkling with Italian citrus fruits and blackcurrant, pungent with black pepper, pink pepper and ginger, and aromatic with lavender in bloom that men like so much. The latter acts as a hook to a heart of exquisite Mediterranean flowers: orange blossom and sweet jasmine, supported by the strength of Himalayan cedar and green Haitian vetiver, with a drop of oriental patchouli. There is no lack of Indian sandalwood, a hint of leathery note and plenty of transparent and clean white musk. Excellent persistence.
